A Little Help Please Come On Spring We Would Like to Hit the Road

Monday

Well this morning we have about 6 inches of snow on the ground and its 16 degrees.  Well the good news is the sun came out and melted a lot of the snow but its still cold.
More good news a couple of my magazines came, MotorHome Magazine and Holiday Ramblings.  They will help to fire up the spring fever and get us ready to hit the road.  Now we just need the weather to cooperate a little.  Lots of weather watching this week as I think I need to make a decision by Friday on either taking the car or the MH.

I worked some today at the logging company to pick out a new computer and discuss some better ways to backup their data.  Finally home and Bonnie was already here.  Pork Chops for supper and then we will catch up on the recorded shows.

Off to bed to read.  Lots to do tomorrow

Tuesday

Busy day today and I got off to a good start.  Cat box, trash, but then left late.  Made a quick stop at court to say I would be back later.  It really helps to have a great clerk.  They picked up my SIL and we headed in near the airport for lunch.

Had a very good lunch at La Bella Scillia.  We split the Antipasti Salad and a Capacola sub.  Almost to much for two to eat.  Bev was getting a little nervous and so we headed to airport that was only 5 minutes away.  She checked in at the curb and after a big hug we bid farewell to each other.

Well Bev made it to Chicago ok and the Amtrak website says her train left on time, she is on her way to see her son, DIL and grandson.

Bonnie had a dentist appointment, end of the day and they were a bit late.  Now we are headed to Elizabeths for supper.

Great supper stuffed peppers, mashed potatoes, angel hair, green beans.  Glazed croissants for dessert.
Watched Animal Planet and now home.

Heard from Bev her train had problems and is an hour behind.  Only an hour to go still running an hour behind.  Amtrak says the train is there, good night all.  Darn no pictures today.

Wednesday

I woke up this morning thinking it would be a laid back day.  But I soon started adding things to my list.  It is beautiful out but a bit windy.  The temperature is unreal for March 7th.

So since it is nice, warm and sunny I headed in to Elizabeths to take care of something she asked me to do.

Yep she switched from Dish to Time Warner cable, they offered her a deal she could not turn down.  So I had to remove the feed horns and built-in switch so she could return them.

I made it home in time to eat and then tuned in for the big Apple announcement of the the New iPad.  Not the iPad3 as most were calling it.  Lots of improvements and some updated software and hardware to support it.  I have been saving my allowance to buy it but have a couple weeks until it is available.

The weather is looking good on the 10 day forecast so plans are still to take the MH. Hopefully the parking spot will melt off and we can bring the MH home on Saturday.

If the forecast holds this should melt, it will be soft but there is lots of stone there and should support the MH.

We took a meal over to one of our church families, he is still recovering from an accident and his wife is his primary caregiver.  We had a great visit and we each got to know each other a little better.  Kind of like sitting around the campfire at a campout.  Its after nine now and still 53 out.  Thats about it for today.  Busy day tomorrow I need to go up to Batavia.
